DepositDox, Inc. dba DepositDox.com and FaxBetter.com (herein referred to as "DepositDox") regards the privacy and security of its Customers' information as a critically important facet of our customer service. The following privacy statement sets out DepositDox's commitment to you, our valued customer, in this regard, and explains DepositDox's information gathering and dissemination practices.

 

Collected Information

We require customers who register to use the services ("Services") offered on DepositDox.com and FaxBetter.com ("Site") to give us contact name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and if applicable, also billing information, such as billing name and address and expiration date. DepositDox also collects information via the FaxBetter Extension ("Extension"). The information collected may include but is not limited to customers' email address, browsing history and location information. DepositDox uses the information that we collect to set up Services for our customers, to further discuss customer interest in our company and the Services that we provide and well as use this information by disseminating it to third parties to help cover the costs of operating DepositDox.

Customers are asked to provide an e-mail address when registering for the Service, in order to receive a username and personal e-mail information regarding updates to the Service. DepositDox may, from time to time disclose to third parties the information provided. If applicable, all billing information that we collect is used to bill for Services. This billing information is not used by DepositDox for marketing or promotional purposes. It may be shared with an intermediary to manage the credit card or debit processing. This intermediary is solely a link in the distribution chain to store, retain, or use the information provided, for the sole purpose of credit card or debit processing.

Customers of the Service will be using the Site to host data and information ("Data"). DepositDox will not review, print, or reference any such Data except as provided in the DepositDox Terms of Use or as may be required by law. The information may at times be viewed or accessed only for the purpose of resolving a problem, support issue, marketing of DepositDox, suspend usage, sold to third parties to help cover costs or as may be required by law. Of course, customers are responsible for maintaining confidential user registration and password.

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit DepositDox. These companies may use information about your visits to this and other web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. Log Files

Our log files capture the registered user identification number(s) and the date and time of visit. It will scan a page count, store the file name(s), the document upload results and the storage volume (by account only).

 

Use of Information

The information that you provide on this site will be used by DepositDox to better understand who our customers are as well as promote DepositDox to potential customers. In this way, you give DepositDox permission to use the domain of your email address and the company logo associated with that domain for DepositDox's promotional purposes. Additionally, DepositDox will use this information to deliver better service or products to our consumers as well as selling it to third parties to help cover operating costs. Also, there is the potential that information or promotional products from third parties may be extended to you through your e-mail address. If you do not wish to receive such information or promotional products, you may stop the flow of such information, any time, by following the "unsubscribe" instructions at the bottom of every email.

 

Sharing of Information

DepositDox may from time to time sell, rent, license, or exchange personally identifiable data with a third party. Consent to this data sharing is a prerequisite to the use of DepositDox Services.

 

Security

Information collected by DepositDox is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public. All of our employees are dedicated to maintaining and upholding your privacy and security and are aware of our privacy and security policies. Unfortunately, no data transmission on the Internet can be 100% secure. Consequently, while DepositDox will strive to protect your personal information, DepositDox, its subsidiaries and affiliates and their respective directors, officers and employees shall not be required to guarantee the security of any information you transmit to it from our online products and services and you do so at your own risk. 

Specifically but not limited to the following example.  Customer A receives a fax number.  In accordance with DepositDox's Terms of Service, Customer A may lose that fax number after a period of time (determined solely by DepositDox).  That fax number may then be assigned to Customer B.  If Customer A receives information on that fax number after it has been assigned to Customer B, it may not be accessible by Customer A and will be accessible by Customer B.

If applicable, any external link contained on DepositDox's website is not covered by this privacy statement and DepositDox is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.

Please be advised that if you make a purchase from a store or a merchant listed or limited to this website, any information that you transmit, including your credit card number and contact information, by necessity, is provided to those merchants, who may or may not have separate privacy and data collection practices of their own. DepositDox uses ads supplied by Google Adsense (refer to this page explaining how Google manages data in its ads products) and AppNexus (refer to this page explaining how AppNexus manages data in its ads products).
